The all new VL100
lathe has been designed specifically to suit woodturners' requirements
with features such as higher centre height, extra length between centres
and bolt on extension facility (extensions available in 500mmlengths).
The Vicmarc mini
lathe is made of cast iron for added strength and durability.

VL300 - Electronic Lathe

The VL300 Series
Electronic Variable Speed Lathe has been designed to suit most
professional wood turners. The electronic variable speed drive gives 150%
torque on low rpm and the 1.5kw motor is adequate for this size lathe.
The two step pulleys
provide ratios 1: 1 for small to medium size work and 1: 3 for large work. |

The cast iron lathe is
mounted on a 5mm thick steel plate stand which has been designed with a
wide footprint for stability and rigidity. The stand also features storage
space, wood shaving discharge chute and emergency knee bar stop.
The short bed version
has a bolt on extension facility. By bolting the extension on to the lathe
the distance between centres would be 1.5m. |

VM100
and VM120 Chucks |
|
|
The VM100
and VM120 T- Bar Allen Key operated chucks provide one- hand tightening
along with tremendous gripping power provided by the 6 to 1 ratio of the
scroll. Keyed chucks cannot be beaten when is comes to holding power. The
totally enclosed back assures consistent, smooth action by preventing dust
and debris from getting into scroll of the chuck.
The
backing lid is also indexed for those woodturners who do not have indexing
facility on their lathes. The VM100's compact size makes it ideal for use on
300mm (12in) capacity lathes or smaller, whilst the VM120 will hold most
work up to 500mm( 20in) in diameter with standard jaws. |
